Mineral-insulated cable
Introduction: It boasts excellent thermal and mechanical properties, outstanding electrical performance, and superior resistance to chemical corrosion. At the same time, it features a simple structure, lightweight design, and is not constrained by deployment limitations due to height differences. It is widely used in urban power grids.
The BTTZ cable is a heavy-duty, fire-resistant cable with a copper conductor and a copper sheath, featuring magnesium oxide insulation (also known as heavy-duty mineral-insulated cable). It consists of a seamless copper tube sheath on the outside, with magnesium oxide crystal powder densely packed in the middle as the insulating material. The conductors are made up of single-strand copper rods. Typically, these cables are constructed by twisting several individual conductors—or groups of conductors (with each group containing at least two conductors) —together in a rope-like configuration. Each conductor group is electrically insulated from one another and is often twisted around a central core. The entire cable is then encased in a highly insulating outer covering.

It consists of a seamless copper tube sheath on the outside, with magnesium oxide crystal powder filling the space in between as the insulating material. The conductor is made up of a single solid copper rod—a new type of cable design.
