The YJV cable is a power cable with cross-linked polyethylene insulation and a polyvinyl chloride sheath. This type of cable boasts excellent electrical performance and outstanding resistance to chemical corrosion. It features a simple structure and light weight, and its installation is not restricted by elevation differences. It is widely used in urban power grids as well as in factories and mining areas. Cross-linked polyethylene significantly enhances the mechanical properties of polyethylene. Moreover, its rated operating temperature is 90 degrees Celsius—considerably higher than that of polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene-insulated cables—thus enabling a higher current-carrying capacity for the cable.
