BTTZ cable is a heavy-duty fire-resistant cable with copper conductors and a copper sheath, featuring magnesium oxide insulation (also known as heavy-duty mineral-insulated cable). It consists of a seamless copper tube sheath on the outside, with magnesium oxide crystal powder filling the space in between as the insulating material. The conductor is made up of a single solid copper rod—a new type of cable design.
Cables typically consist of several individual conductors—or groups of conductors (with at least two conductors per group)—twisted together to form a rope-like structure. Each group of conductors is electrically insulated from one another and often twisted around a central core. The entire cable is then encased in a highly insulating outer covering.
