KVV control cable
I. What does KVV cable mean?
1. The KVV cable is a type of control cable, commonly known as polyvinyl chloride-insulated control cable. It is generally used for wiring in control, signal, and measurement systems.
2. Its rated voltage is either 450/750V or 0.6/1kV.
3. When operating continuously, the conductor’s maximum working temperature must not exceed 70 degrees Celsius, and the ambient installation temperature must not be lower than zero degrees Celsius. If the cable is to be installed in environments below zero degrees Celsius, it must be preheated first.
4. Permissible bending radii: ① For non-armored cables, the permissible bending radius is six times or more the outer diameter. ② For armored or copper tape-shielded cables, the permissible bending radius is twelve times the outer diameter. ③ For shielded flexible cables, the permissible bending radius is also six times or more the outer diameter.
5. Installation scope: This cable is suitable for fixed installations, such as indoors, in cable trenches, and in pipelines.
